Chole gravy Recipe

Ingredients
1. 100gms chickpeas
2. 2 onions
3. 1 Tomato
4. 3 tbsp Oil
5. 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
6. 1 tbsp Chili Powder
7. 3 Green chilies
8. Chhole Masala (Everest)
9. Chat masala
10. Turmeric powder
11. Ginger and Garlic paste
12. Salt

Procedure:

1. Soak 100gm of white chickpeas overnight. Cook and keep aside.
2. Heat 3 tbsp oil, fry 2 chopped onions till golden brown Add 1 tsp each of chili Powder and Coriander Powder.
3. Add 1 tnsp Chhole masala. Fry for 3 min on a low flame. Add 1 chopped tomato. 3 slit green chilies and ½ inch ginger, finally sliced, and salt to taste
4. Add boiled chickpeas. Add salt, cook for 5 min.For added flavor, put ½ tsp of chaat masala and kasuri methi.Serve hot with rice/Roti

Masala Buttermilk – Maharastrian Masala tak

Ingredients: 

  • 1 Cup Curd
  • 2 cups Water
  • A pinch of Salt
  • Few Coriander leaves
  • 1 Garlic

    Masala Buttermilk,

 

Procedure:

Beat the curd, Coriander leaves and garlic in a blender for 15 -20 seconds.

• Add water to the above and mix thoroughly.

• Add salt, stir well and Masala buttermilk is ready to serve.

Indian Recipe-Finger Chips

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 Potatoes
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt
  • Pinch of Baking soda
  • 4 cups of water
  • Pinch of Turmeric powder

Procedure

  • Cut potato into thin long strips.

  • Wash the potatoes strips by water
  • Take another 4 cups of clean water and deep these strips in to that
  • Add the pinch of salt for taste in same container
  • Add pinch of Baking soda and pinch of Turmeric powder
  • Wait for 15-20 min
  • Remove potato strips from water and deep fry on medium flame till golden brown.
  • Remove, and drain fried potato strips.
  • Serve finger chips with tomato ketchup.

Sabudana Vada or Sago Vada Recipe

  • 2 Medium size boiled potatoes
  • 1 cup sabudana (sago)
  • 1 cup roasted peanuts powder
  • 5-6 Green Chilies
  • ½ teaspoon cumin seeds powder
  • Coriander leaves
  • Salt for taste
  • ½ teaspoon Sugar
  • Oil for fry

Procedure:

  • Rinse sabudana (sago) with water drain/remove excessive water. Cover and keep aside for 5 to 6 hours.
  • Peel the boiled potatoes and mash them.
  • Mix Sabudana (Sago), mashed potatoes, peanuts powder, cumin seeds powder, green chilies (finely chopped), Salt (as required), Sugar, few coriander leaves
  • Mix well, it should be thick mixture and it should not sticky
  • Make tight round balls (2-3 inch in diameter)
  • Boil the Oil in pan and fry these vada’s (Sago Balls) till they become golden color.
  • Serve hot vada’s with green chutney or with tomato ketchup.

Cutlet Recipe

Want to have something crunchy, little spicy, snacky food…here we go presenting simple and easy Cutlet recipe using the Bread Crumps !! Hope you like it

Ingredients:-

  • 1/2 kg, Boiled potatoes
  • 2 Cups Soaked poha (Rice Flakes)
  • 1/2 cup Gram Flour
  • 4-5 Grinded Green Chilies
  • 2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chilly powder
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs
  • Pinch of Backing soda
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for shallow fry

Procedure:

  1. Mash the Boiled potatoes
  2. Mix the soaked poha (Rice flackes) in to Mashed potato mixture and also add Gram flour, Ginger garlic paste, green chilies, Garam Masala, Red Chilli powder, Salt to taste
  3. Mix gently.
  4. Add pinch of Backing Soda
  5. Now shape a handful of this mixture into a cutlet (You can make the cutlets of any shape)
  6. Rub in Bread Crump’s
  7. Heat pan, putt little oil and fry cutlets on both sides on medium flame.
  8. Tasty and healthy cutlets are ready to serve.
  9. Serve with chatney (Any) and tomato ketchup

Note: You can add these cutlets to prepare a testy sandwich along with onion and sliced tomatos between 2 Bread slices.
